Our vision is to continue to develop the Helping Hand Community project and build it into a truly community group where everyone can be involved and make a difference. All funds will be reinvested into the project, enabling fundraising events to be held and mobile food banks to be set up in various areas.
We have excellent working relationships with many local businesses. These include Aldi, Co-op, Farmfoods, Kurtis Catering, Lidl, Marks & Spencer, Morrisons, Pret A Manger, Sainsburys, Tesco and Warley Supermarket. Our partners are critical to our success and our aim to help everyone within the community.
Helping Hand Community was officially launched in 2023, but we have been serving the local community for the past five years. We work with amazing organisations including BUDS, Dorothy Parkes Centre, Midland Langar Seva Society, PDSA, St Albans Community Centre and West Smethwick Enterprise as well as local community groups and homeless/refugee centres.
